This Important occasion was held in various Quaker Churches where various activities were conducted. Joshua Lilande was invited to Eldoret Meeting and asked to speak on the various Quaker Organs... FWCC, FUM, Silent (unprogrammed), Conservatives and other Kenya based Meetings highlighting their origin, their set ups and how they relate. The response was that they need to hear more about The Quaker Family.

Evangelical Friends of Kenya marked and celebrated World Quaker Day. We gathered at our Headquarters in Kitale, being witnesses of Christ we celebrated with our friends from other Regional Meetings. We unite as Quakers to care, love and promote peace. As Christians let's love one another as Christ loved us, let's pray for peace in the world and unity among the Quaker yearly meetings. This is all about what Christ Jesus did two thousand and sixteen years ago.....love one another as a Quaker.
