Friends in Baraka, South Kivu, the Democratic Republic of the Congo celebrating World Quaker Day

In Nairobi, Kenya, 14 Monthly Meetings welcomed in-person visitors from Bolivia, Canada, Northern Ireland, the USA, England, Australia, South Africa and other parts of Kenya who each gave either a message of greeting or the sermon. More than 400 online visitors then joined a hybrid service hosted by Friends Church Lang’ata.

Friends in Kamembe were reminded who we are as Quakers and how our core values help us to be Friends the world needs. We had 6 visitors from other denominations and we received 7 new members in our church.
